Access to finance has been at the forefront of global attention for a long-time and catastrophic events like COVID-19 has accelerated such a concern. Particularly financial access for marginalized populations and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has been challenging.

What are the research-based evidence pieces out there that various governments are implementing and adopting to facilitate such concerns? Do you think the measures currently taken are sufficient? If not, what other policies would you like to suggest based on theory and global evidence?
