  2. Identification of legal risks that the nurse must consider to care for a patient in this situation (refer to chapter 6 of your textbook). Identifies legal risks the nurse must consider to care for a patient in this situation. Identify potential violations of patient rights. What are types of potential negligence and potential legal repercussions against the nurse?
  3. Identification of interprofessional collaboration that is needed to care for a patient in this situation (refer to chapter 4 and 12 of your textbook). What is interprofessional collaboration? Which professionals will be part of your interprofessional team? What are their roles and why are they important? Be specific. Consider: social worker, pharmacist, primary care physician, charge nurse, nutritionist, clergy, physical therapist, nurse from the infection control department, nurse from quality improvement team, member of the information technology team. Who will be helpful to address your team’s problem?
  4. Conclusions: A conclusion is a very important part of the paper. It provides the rationale about the decision-making process for this ethical situation.  Based on the information that you have gathered about this type of situation, what is the solution for this dilemma? Why did you arrive at that solution?
